BR 1-14 The Gingerbread Man (Mackinnon, 2006)

'SNAP!'(p.45) 
This story is about a little old woman, a little old man, o gingerbread man, a horse, a cow, a farmer, some children, and a fox. A little woman and a little man lived on a farm. Many of time, they were happy.
 
However, one thing made them sad. They had no children. Then, a little old woman decided to make a boy who made by gingerbread. She mixed the dough and cut it like a human. She gave him eyes, a mouth, and  there buttons. She baled it.
 
For a minutes, she opened the oven door and look in. The gingerbread man jumped out and ran away. A little old woman and little old man pursued him.

The gingerbread man ran past a horse and a cow. A horse and a cow began to pursue him with a little old woman and a little old man.

Next, the gingerbread man ran past a farmer. A farmer wanted to eat it, so also he began to pursue him. Next, the gingerbread man ran past a school full of children. Also, children wanted to eat it, so they began to pursue him.
 
The gingerbread ran very well. However he faced a river. He could not ran away.

Then, fox found the gingerbread man, and a fox said him to took you across. This is fox's operation. During they across the river, a fox eat the gingerbread man. This is the end of the gingerbread man.
